So this flickering test might be hiding a real bug: it feels like the test is behaving as if the button was never clicked. I experienced a few problems with those buttons from time to time, as if the JS wasn't behaving properly sometimes.
Now that being said after discussing with Thomas Mortagne it would be better to spend time to actually refactor EM to use standard job progress, a unique thread for jobs and questions for continuing.
