Pages associated to a variant should be displayed on the variant page on demand, not always

Fetching these lists (of associated pages & associated macros) is rather costly, from a performance pov, and loading them always makes working with variants rather difficult.
They should be loaded only on demand, after clicking a button, asynchronously.
