This solution works for the page attachments tab upload and for the administration import but it doesn't seem to work with Office Importer nor with image plugin from CKEditor. Did you encounter any issue with any of these cases?

I just gave a try both to an image upload and an Office document import in CKEditor and it went fine with the current configuration documented on xwiki.org as far as I can tell, on XWiki 14.10.4. I see however that the image plugin posts the request to a /get/ action, not an /upload/ one so a different rule applies. What error do you get on your side?
