There is already import related events (wiki macro module is listening to it for this exact reason) but it's not good to listen to them for things that don't have anything to do with import.
We could also stack the events and release them when the import is done. That's what Extension Manager does for component registration events when installed installing a JAR extension, for example. All theses listener these listeners have to listen to document event events anyway, so better having them only listen to that instead of forcing them to have to take care of some special event that they should not care about.
