This issue seems more or less fixed right now. I'm not aware of any dialog that isn't keyboard operable.

When the user has a dropdown opened, the dropdown intercepts the first escape press to close itself, but lets the other ones close the dialog window.

In addition, you can now always navigate with Tabs to the close button. Not as quick, but a good alternative if for some reason ESC doesn't work smile.png

Note: support for keyboard only users should be good overall since it's a WCAG requirement that XWiki aims to fulfill.
