Summary: Images aren't displayed correctly in CKEditor non-English wikis
Issue Type: cid:jira-generated-image-avatar-0f396e27-19c1-4ad2-8bb6-3c4bcc1ceb62 Bug
Affects Versions: 16.4.1
Assignee: Unassigned
Attachments: image-2024-07-24-12-23-17-417.png, image-2024-07-24-12-24-08-870.png, image-2024-07-24-12-24-36-662.png
Components: CKEditor
Created: 24/Jul/24 12:30
Labels: regression
Priority: cid:jira-generated-image-static-blocker-9edcb5c7-4bee-45c5-ade6-9c9ddb5b10fd Blocker
Reporter: Michael Hamann
Description:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Change the wiki's language to German
  2. Edit the sandbox page and select the image in the content of the page.

Expected result:

The border around the image wraps the image, the floating menu is displayed below and the move icon is displayed at the top left of the image:

(Screenshot of XWiki 14.9, but the issue started most likely with 14.10.7 and 15.2RC1.)

Actual result:

In Firefox:

_thumb_42704.png

In Chrome:

_thumb_42703.png

The reason for this is that the selector that was introduced as part of XWIKI-20725 and changed later as part of XWIKI-22008 matches an attribute value that is translated.

I've reproduced the issue with XWiki 14.10.7, I didn't test with XWiki 15.2 but assume that it is the same. I've also reproduced it on XWiki 16.4.1.
