Note that "more application" is an UIXP, see https://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Documentation/DevGuide/ExtensionPoint/MoreApplicationUIX

So, you can, right now, add a new UIX for it for "more applications...".

I don't understand if this issue is about:

  • Adding a UIX for "more applications..."
  • A proposal to change the L&F of the UIXP implementation (I don't understand your rationale for changing what exists but this needs to be explained in a proposal, see below).

In both cases this requires a proposal on the forum to decide about it.

It's probably about both but they're not the same thing so this might need 2 proposals.
