A change in @navbar-height ruins vertical align of items in navbar

I tested out on a slightly modified distribution:

We can see that my result is not the same as the one we'd expect:

1. The notification bell icon is centered properly (might be related to distrib specific changes, this is the one where I tested https://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-22316 – it would be nice if that was fixed by my changes for this other ticket )
2. The notification count is off the bell :/ From what I remember, this is because at a DOM level it's a sibling of the bell icon, and we need to position it absolutely to get the overlap effect expected. When the bell moves, this absolute positioning strategy doesn't work anymore.
3. The profile picture is weirdly distorted.
