Summary: When wrapping text in a macro in WYSIWYG, the formatting is lost
Issue Type: cid:jira-generated-image-avatar-38f62c30-579e-46b6-a530-edceac0b74e2 Bug
Affects Versions: 16.3.1
Assignee: Unassigned
Components: CKEditor
Created: 10/Jun/24 12:11
Priority: cid:jira-generated-image-static-major-8ed2bf06-c0ba-4cd1-8183-ac3b17ef9707 Major
Reporter: Michael Hamann
Description:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a paragraph with some text, a link and some bold text
  2. Select the text
  3. Go to the add macro dialog and select some macro like "Warning message" (you need to use the macro dialog, reachable through the "Other macros" option, not the "Warning Box" item in the "+"-menu")
  4. Click Submit

Expected result:

The selected paragraph is now wrapped in a warning box and the link and bold formatting still exists.

Actual result:

While the text is part of the warning box, all formatting has been lost and there is no more link or bold formatting.
