Note that XWiki doesn't have any variable that is meant to be used for chart coloring. As far as I know, the most consistently colorful elements are `brand-info` , `brand-danger`, ... Those colors come with some semantics that should in my opinion not be overlooked. Any other set of variables can become a set of greys with some colorthemes, so those defaults with vivid and clearly distinguishable colors are quite alright IMO.
As Vincent mentionned, nowadays it's possible to customize the colors to fit your colortheme, so it's even less necessary to change the default colors of the chart macro.
Closing this issue as it wasn't updated in a long time (low user/dev interest) and the use case is probably too specific for an implementation to be beneficial on XWiki Standard.
