I'm wondering if it's not better to allow the user to choose the type of paste when we detect that the DataTransfer object has multiple types. WDYT?

I'd agree with this.

I'd agree with this. It's consistent with the idea from the description of XWIKI-19961 :

bq. It would be great if, upon doing the paste, a popup would open if there are images in the HTML and ask the user if he/she would like to link the images to the remote site or copy them in the current wiki page as attachments instead.
