I don't agree with this part:

Step 17: Also, the "Summarize changes" option from the "Recent versions" button on the right side of the toolbar is not active either, since it saves the changes as minor versions.

The "Summarize changes" action is a way to create an intermediary version. It can be minor or major, depending on whether minor versions are enabled or not.
