Summary: Seeing all the changes replayed when joining a realtime session is not nice
Issue Type: cid:jira-generated-image-avatar-8f54d315-0b7c-4043-aca0-ae01e7db1932 Improvement
Affects Versions: 15.10.10, 16.4.0
Assignee: Unassigned
Components: Realtime
Created: 21/Jun/24 17:32
Priority: cid:jira-generated-image-static-major-53daa416-eb98-4254-9635-9bea615723ca Major
Reporter: Marius Dumitru Florea
Description:

When joining an existing realtime session, you can see for a few seconds the changes from the realtime session re-played, which is not nice (lots of flickering text). Would be better to hide this under a loading animation. Moreover, we need to double-check that the checkpoint feature of Netflux / Chainpad is really working, i.e. make sure that we're not replaying all the changes, since the start of the realtime session, but only the change since the last checkpoint.
