This is currently used in the XWiki/SearchResults page on the default wiki which means we currently have sorting/filtering on both Search results and What's New page. It can be added to other pages if we need it. Do you have any other in mind?
It means that you have to construct HTML tables to benefit form it right now. In the future, I'd like to modify our {table} macro to offer filtering and sorting capabilities too.
