I had faced similar issue and I hope you are also talking about the same.
I had reported this on one of the threads.

There is a slight bug in one of their vm templates in albatross skin.

in editinline.vm please add the following line:
<input type="hidden" name="parent" value="$!request.parent" />

I think they should fix this in the svn.

Hi all,

I create a page to change the parent to a chosen page using:

#set ($mydoc = $xwiki.getDocument("some.page"))
$mydoc.setParent($targetdoc)
$mydoc.save()

It works but in the tree page I see the changed page into its original tree
location.

What is my fault ??
