Hello :)
I wanna see the code for let's say HTMLMacro from xwiki 2.0, because i wanna
see how you added a checkbox in the macro parameters. i know there are 2
files in the "templates" files: macros.vm and macros.txt, but i donlt find
what i want
And another question: can a page have more than one macro added? i mean...i
edit a page, add some macro classes . then i shoudl be able to use these
macros in every page in the space, right? and be able to see the macros(in
the macro list)..cause somethimes i do, and other times i don't, so i must
be doing something stupid. :D
Thank you

Hello friends,
We are converting our xwiki to an xwiki farm. I have followed all the
necessary instructions for converting XE to XEM as stated in the XEM space
at
http://manager.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/Installation#HConvertanex
istingXWikiEnterpriseinstance
I was able to create a xwiki farm successfully on test machine. However,
when I tried following the same steps & creating xwiki farm on production
server, I can no longer access the main wiki (original XE instance which is
being converted to XEM). The moment I set the xwiki.virtual=1 property,
XWiki becomes inaccessible & keeps routing me to the "redirect on error" URL
defined in xwiki.cfg file. On both the test machine & production server, the
XWiki is 2.1 & JDK/JRE is 1.6 with tomcat 6.0.14 & mysql 5.0.45. The only
difference being the data content inside each wiki instances (the test
machine is almost a new wiki whereas the production one has a lot of data) &
the OS (test machine is Windows XP whereas production is Windows Server
2003). I have downgraded the JDK to 1.5 & still the production XWiki just
becomes inaccessible when converting into an XEM.
I was hoping someone could guide me as to what could I check (logs, some
settings) to identify why the production XWiki refuses to start when
xwiki.virtual is set to 1. I have tried really hard for the past couple of
days to figure out what is different but reached nowhere. If someone has
faced this issue before, could you please guide me. Thank you for your time
friends.

Dilipkumar Jadhav
Just wondering if anyone has had character input delay using IE7/8 in the
WYSIWYG editor. I don't have that problem on the same computer using firefox
or Chrome. I'm guessing its the JS engine but just wondering if there is a
fix or workaround.

Hi all!
Sorry if this question has already been reviewed, but I've been
searching the users mail and found nothing.
I've been working on the Galician translation of the Xwiki Core for
a few weeks and today I have found that each and every English string
has a "previous text" added to it. Can anybody help me find out what
this means and wether it has any influence on the translations?
Thank you very much for your help!

Hello!
Please help me for a xwiki syntax. I need to include in document child pages
of this document, but not all level-childs, only directly-connected to my
document child pages.
For finding attachments of a child pages, I already learned. I should use:
#foreach($attDoc in $xwiki.wrapDocs($xwiki.searchDocuments(",
XWikiAttachment att where att.docId =
doc.id and doc.web='${doc.space}'")))
#foreach($att in $attDoc.getAttachmentList())
* $attDoc.getAttachmentURL($att.filename)
${att.filename}(${attDoc.displayTitle})
#end
#end
but I need also to find child pages.
Thanks beforehand!

I all,
I've installed xwiki 2.1 right now ... I need some time to become familiar with the new menu structure and the new menu line right above the pages.
However I recognized, that spaces having its own title, different from the code, are shown with a small stripe at the top - that's boring (a bit).
Kind regards
mb

Hi.
I am test driving XWiki Enterprise for my group at work. Kudos and
thanks to the developers for putting together this fabulous app.
I
am having trouble with MSOffice-2007 documents attached to pages in the
wiki. The content-type header delivered by the server when accessing
such documents (with extensions .pptx, .docx or .xlsx for example) is
"application/octet-stream". While modern browsers such as Firefox offer
to open the document in the appropriate app (looking at the filename in
the content-disposition header I guess), IE6 unfortunately treats it as
binary data and offers to open it with WinZip.
I have read through a couple of threads in the xwiki-dev and xwiki-users mailing list archive, but following those directions did not resolve my issue.
So how can I fix
this issue? I have tried adding mime-mapping in
<install-root>/domain/domain1/config/default-web.xml as well as
in
<install-root>/domain/domain1/applications/j2ee-modules/xwiki-enterprise-web-2.1-milestone-1/WEB-INF/web.xml
like following -- but that has had no effect.
<mime-mapping>
<extension>docx</extension>
<mime-type>application/vnd.openxmlformats</mime-type>
</mime-mapping>
<mime-mapping>
<extension>pptx</extension>
<mime-type>application/vnd.openxmlformats</mime-type>
</mime-mapping>
<mime-mapping>
<extension>xlsx</extension>
<mime-type>application/vnd.openxmlformats</mime-type>
</mime-mapping>
The content-type header still comes as application/octet-stream as shown below:
bash> lynx http://<myhost>/xwiki/bin/download/Sandbox/TestPage2/simple.xlsx -head -dump
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Server: Sun Java System Application Server 9.1_01
Set-Cookie: JSESSIONID=1556df25ad03500b4592d778a5e1; Path=/xwiki
Content-disposition: inline; filename="simple.xlsx"
Last-Modified: Wed, 02 Dec 2009 17:37:17 GMT
Set-Cookie: visitid=NMUOTURHA9P7GS5BM35MKJLN5WQSPYDL; Path=/
Content-Type: application/octet-stream;charset=ISO-8859-1
Content-Language: en
I
have verified by introducing syntax errors and by other techniques that
the web.xml file is being read by the server when I perform a restart,
but the mime-mapping additions seem to have no effect.
Any help will be deeply appreciated.
Thanks,
Milind
Hello,
I really like the idea of database lists as it gives me the ability to
relate pages (objects) together without much effort.
However, I have found it very difficult to use these lists easily as it
requires an understanding of not only HQL (which isn't hard) and of the
Hibernate-mapped schema, which to my knowledge is not available. Is this
hibernate-mapped API / Schema (java objects) published somewhere?
It has also occurred to me that an even easier option would be to use
XWQL in the DatabaseList query specification. Is this possible somehow?
Regards,
Nigel

Hello all,
One request from our users is to set a dynamic text in the title bar, on the right of the logo. Something like a text related to the current browsed space for example. May be possible by reading a dedicated string object defined in the webhome page else it will be set to an empty string.
Is it possible to do that ?
Thank you

I need to hide all stuff at the print preview form, exept page contents.
Logo, title, and all of them ... How I can do that? As I understand, I need
to edit print.css file in folder of my skin (colibri for example). At this
file exists section with comment /* Hide unneeded stuff */, but I cannot
underdstand what I should add for hidding all? I already hide all objects
below main page content, but for objects above - I cannot do that. What I
should to add in this section in print.css for my situation?

Hi xwiki-users,
I'm trying to bootstrap a component from the wiki itself (via Groovy). I
have an interface defined as follows:

def ROLE = UserDAO.class.name
/**

I also have a dummy implementation defined as follows:

/**

def getUserName() {
return "bleh"
}
/**

*/
def getPassword() {
return "bleh"
}
}
if(!Utils.componentManager.hasComponent(UserDAO.class))
{
def componentDescriptor = new DefaultComponentDescriptor()
componentDescriptor.setImplementation(UserDAO.class)
Utils.componentManager.registerComponent(componentDescriptor, new
UserXWQLDAO())
}
{{/groovy}}
The first problem I ran into was that Groovy 1.6.5 ran into
IncompatibleClassChangeErrors (http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GROOVY-3830).
Upgrading to 1.6.6 fixed this issue. But, then I ran into a NPE:

created components completely within a wiki document? That would just be so
cool! Great work!

hi folks,
can anyone point me to a step-by-step example of upgrading a standalone
xwiki?
replacing the contents of ${XWIKI_HOME}/webapps/xwiki/ with
xwiki-enterprise-web-2.1-rc-1.war & copying back the hibernate.cfg.xml
and xwiki.cfg has resulted in:
Problem accessing /xwiki/bin/view/Main/. Reason:
Error number 3 in 0: Could not initialize main XWiki context
Wrapped Exception: Error number 3001 in 3: Cannot load class
com.xpn.xwiki.store.migration.hibernate.XWikiHibernateMigrationManager
from param xwiki.store.migration.manager.class
Wrapped Exception: Error number 0 in 3: Exception while hibernate execute
Wrapped Exception: Could not parse mapping document from resource
xwiki.hbm.xml
i'm upgrading 2.0.3 to 2.1RC1
sorry if this is covered in a FAQ - the upgrade Xwiki Core from
<http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/Installation#HUpgrading…>
isn't very explicit
any suggestions?

I just got my Google
Wave<http://mashable.com/2009/05/28/google-wave-guide/>invite and have
been trying to understand how I can use it with my
Xwiki <http://xwiki.org>-based application (soon launching on
http://trainspodder.com see
example-screen<http://nielsmayer.com/prototype-11-17-2009.jpg>: my
interest in Wave is because my site, in google-parlance, is basically
a
"wave for deep-linking/commenting/annotating/transcluding&mashing streaming
audio&video media").
One of the areas that I think Wave would help Xwiki-based applications (and
wikis/sites) is with "Viral commenting" so that Wave becomes a central place
for comments and conversations on web pages. As it "socially networks"
comments, this enables FOAFs to more easily find out about internet
conversations that might otherwise be hidden away on a website that nobody
knows about.. Thus, Wave provides a viral commenting mechanism for Xwiki
pages that is potentially superior to the other alternatives previously
available, e.g.
http://massol.myxwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Blog/AnonymousComments :
> XWiki Enterprise allows users to leave comments on pages. However in order
> to prevent spam on your public wiki instance you usually only want to allow
> registered users the right to add comments. Thus we need a solution that
> still allows guest users to leave comments while preventing spam.
>
> I'm proposing 2 solutions that I've both tried on this blog and that have
> worked well: Solution 1: create a special guest account that can be used
> transparently to leave comments. This can be achieved by creating a custom
> skin and tweaking the comments form Solution 2: integrate with an external
> comment web service such as IntenseDebate <http://www.intensedebate.com/>.
> This also requires a custom skin in order to override some templates.
>
It also solves the "commenting" issues in Xwiki that include (1) controlling
comment spam by forcing commenters to login with real Xwiki accounts to post
comments; (2) the lack of well-integrated and "working right out of the box"
captcha support in Xwiki to prevent comment spam w/o authentication/login;
(3) lack of "out of the box" OpenID support which would allow easy
authentication of public users wanting to leave comments; (4) users wanting
to leave comments constantly forgetting the accounts and passwords under
which they left comments, as well as not having a centralized place to
follow-up on comments they've left, or conversations they've been involved
in.
Wave seems to solve some of the problems, and might help side-step a lot of
others in Xwiki.... for example, why spend a huge amount of effort tightly
integrating OpenID or some other certificate/2FA/SSO-based auth system for
the class of wikis that comprise a small number of editors and site
maintainers, and a large number of commenters and public that you want to
authenticate, identify, and spam-control -- perhaps Xwiki's login/auth
system is perfectly adequate for this class of sites, but becomes
"overwhelmed" by logins and accounts that have been created automatically,
or just for the purpose of posting a single comment (if people even bother
to create an account to leave a comment...). Integrating Wave or
IntenseDebate <http://www.intensedebate.com/> into Xwiki might give the user
experience desired, without the complexity....
Yesterday, I posted the following to an "Xwiki wave" I started:
https://wave.google.com/wave/#restored:wave:googlewave.com!w%252Bedlc50w0G<https://wave.google.com/wave/#restored:wave:googlewave.com%21w%252Bedlc50w0G>(please
join and lets try this thing out!!)
...................................
FYI, here are some ways Wave has been integrated into other platforms (note
MediaWiki integration, can it be leveraged for Xwiki?)
Taken from http://wave.google.com/help/wave/extensions.html
(1) MediaWiki integration:
My Wave wet dream<http://mediawikiwave.blogspot.com/2009/10/my-wave-wet-dream.html>
I have been asked several times where I see Wave
<https://wave.google.com/>go. The last time I was asked where I see
Wave in 5 years time.. not
Internet years. What I did was look hard at Wave for what it does, and look
at Google <http://google.com/> for the kind of things it has been doing.
For me, Wave is an environment where the functionality of e-mail, chat, wiki
comes together. What we have done in the
MediaWikiWave<http://mediawikiwave.org/>project is provide Wave with a
publishing back end. This is something that
MediaWiki <http://mediawiki.org/> does really well. I expect that Wave will
continue to integrate parts of the puzzle that is computer software and
data.
Google is getting into operating systems with its Chrome
OS<http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/07/introducing-google-chrome-os.html>.
Add to this Moore's law <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moore%27s_law> and in
five years time a computer with Chrome OS, with over a terabyte of storage
is not a wild idea at all.
When something like a terabyte is used for caching, I can imagine that this
cache is maintained by Wave. In this cache you find e-mail, Wavelets, Wiki
pages and other information that is of interest to a user. Wave being Wave,
will cache this information and updates it in the background. This
information will be available on request.
Wave in its architecture allows for multiple servers. It is not necessary to
know on what server a particular Wavelet is available. I think that a user
is not that interested in any particular server, he is interested in the
data being available. Only when the data is manipulated is there a need for
immediate feed back to servers or other computers.
I think this is doable. Part of the cache is already there in Google
Gears<http://gears.google.com/>and this makes this vision evolutionary
progress.
Thanks,
GerardM
(2) SAP integration:
Gravity – Collaborative Business Process Modelling within Google
Wave<http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/15618>
Gravity is a prototype developed by SAP Research in Brisbane, Australia and
SAP NetWeaver Development providing real-time, cloud-based collaborative
business process modelling within Google Wave <http://wave.google.com/>.
Google Wave is Google's new real-time collaboration platform that combines
features of e-mail, social networking, wikis and instant messaging in one
integrated browser-based client. Google Wave offers rich developer APIs to
extend the core functionality with custom components. We have embedded
Gravity as a Google Wave "gadget" that can be added within the Google Wave
client. Leveraging the collaborative features of Google Wave, all business
process modelling activities get propagated in near real-time to all other
participants of the Wave. In addition, participants of the Wave can use all
other features provided by Google and its developer community to enrich the
collaborative modelling experience.
In the demo we see how Gravity can be used to facilitate the development of
high level process descriptions for two merging companies, BCD South Bank
and FH Insurance. These two companies are merging in a tough economic
climate and management need to quickly re-engineer their business processes
in order to capitalise from cross-selling opportunities between banking and
insurance products. In addition to the near real-time propagation of model
content to all participants of a Wave, various features of true real-time
collaboration are shown, such as different colour-coding for each individual
modeller, history of a model, asynchronous and synchronous editing, and
more. The demo also shows how robots (automated components that act as Wave
participants) can be leveraged in order to syntactically correct the model
on the fly. In the end, we will see how models are exported using BPMN 2.0
XML. They will then be imported into SAP Netweaver BPM for further
refinement and execution.
The demo shows how new technology can be systematically leveraged in order
to facilitate what Business Process Management is really about: business
user collaboration within and across departments of one or more
organisations.

(3) Salesforce.com <http://salesforce.com/> integration:
Getting in Front of the
Wave<http://blog.sforce.com/sforce/2009/09/getting-in-front-of-the-wave.html>
On Wednesday, September 30th, Google will open up their
Wave<http://wave.google.com/>preview to about 100,000 people. Details
are at Google
Wave Developer Blog<http://googlewavedev.blogspot.com/2009/09/what-happened-in-wave-sandbox.html>and
The
Official Google
Blog<http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/09/surfs-up-wednesday-google-wave-updat…>I
am excited to announce that we have put together a new
demo <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQ0b1CVRZHs> on how you might leverage
the Wave platform on salesforce.com and how you might leverage
salesforce.com from Wave.
Wave is a truly exciting and seminal Cloud technology. Google Wave was
invented by two brothers Jens
Rasmussen<http://www.crunchbase.com/person/jens-rasmussen>andLars
Rasmussen <http://www.crunchbase.com/person/lars-rasmussen> at Google that
builds on the concepts of AJAX combined with fresh look at Operation
Transformation <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operational_transformation>.
It's difficult at this point in time to fully understand the ways in which
this technology may transform web based communication. It will be up to the
community of developers working within and without the enterprise to realize
the evident potential of Wave.
>From a technical perspective, Wave has the ability to interact with other
cloud platforms, like the Force.com <http://developer.force.com/> platform.
It is this interaction that we have demonstrated in relatively short time
frame in the demonstration announced in this post.
The use case for the demo is a fictitious Mobile Services Company named
Booyah. This company asks customers to register the products that they
purchase and one piece of information that is returned upon registration is
an email address for support. The email address is actually to a Wave robot
created by the company's service and support organization. When a customer
encounters a problem with their product, they can begin the process of
resolution by contacting the robot from Google Wave.
This initial contact begins an interaction to provide results from the
company's knowledge base, which of course is implemented using
salesforce.com's Service
Cloud<http://www.salesforce.com/crm/customer-service-support/>.
Through a short series of questions and responses a list of possible
solutions to the customers problem can be presented.
Behind the scenes, the robot identifies the customer by her Wave id and can
tailor the interaction based on the customers purchase and support history
providing a personalized yet automated path to resolution. The robot also
creates a case on the salesforce.com side so that this support interaction
can be managed by Booyah.
To take the experience beyond a simple knowledge base search, the customer
also has the option of requesting a live chat with an available support
representative. This is where Google Wave really starts to shine. If none of
the suggested solutions work for the customer, she can simply click a link
to request a chat. Wave sends this request to the robot which in turn makes
a request to salesforce.com to find an available representative. That
representative is then added to the wave as a participant and the
personalized service begins.
Behind the scenes the robot request is evaluated by a salesforce.com web
service built in Force.com <http://force.com/> Code. When the representative
is found the web service creates a task and a reminder for the task and
assigns it to the representative. The representative is, of course, working
in the salesforce.com UI and sees an alert window as the reminder is
triggered. The representative can simply click on the link to the case shown
in the alert window to access the case.
The cool part about this is that when the case was created, enough
information about the wave was included so that the active wave could be
embedded directly into the layout of the Case detail page. This embedded
Wave has full interactive capability so that the support representative can
carry on the conversation with the customer from the Case detail page. And,
the wave, which was the original channel for the support case can be
accessed at any point in time later, including all the interaction with the
customer.
I'm confident that with the creative minds in the
Force.com<http://force.com/>community, as evidenced by the fantastic
Sites created during our Sites
contest, that many more and truly valuable use cases can be implemented by
combining these two amazing platforms.
If you want to learn more about creating Force.com <http://force.com/> and
Wave solutions be sure to attend the Riding the (Google)
Wave<http://www.salesforce.com/dreamforce/DF09/site/learn/tracks/a1y300000004CGe…>session

Hi,
Is it possible to create a listener, like those for java GUI, to listen for new updates or pages? The goal is to perform an operation everytime a save operation in xwiki occurs.
Thanks in advance!

Hello,
I have a page that was modified 47 times. When i go to see the history, the tab displayed "Results 1 - 20 of 47" but i can see all versions. If i go on the second or the third page, the result is also the complete history list.
Is it a known bug ? I tried to look at the JIRA issues but i did not find any.
Thank you

Hi,
You can try the following code (xwiki 1.0 syntax) to rename your space Main to Releases :
I guess that you will have to recreate the Main space as it seems to be the default one (with the WebHome page in it)

Hi Everybody,
I have a problem with Main space. I have several documents in Main
Space and I need to work in other space created by me. So, I don't know
if I can move all the documents that I have in Main space into my new
space called Releases. I create the space, but I only found a way to do
that and is to rename page by page, each one separately.
Thanks in advance!

Hello
this was the most longest week since i can remember.
Why is that hard to use a css object inserted into a page without messing
all the text of a page?
1. I have a document in a page, to which i (have to ?) add a stylesheet
object at the edit mode. in this stylesheet object i place my css code. This
page has a simple name like: TemplateStyleClass
2. i make another page in the space and import the above page:
$xwiki.ssx.use("TemplateStyleClass") So i automatically
Xwiki new styntax makes us use the: "{{velocity}}{{html}}" when we have
velocity code and tables(html).....if i am wrong feel free to show me an
example that works to show a table or divs or #set(something) without those
2 lines at the begining and at the end;
When i try to do something extremmly simply like having text and tables ,
some in divs, some not, the surprise pops.
{{velocity}}
{{html}}
$xwiki.ssx.use("TemplateStyleClass")
<div class="leftSidePanel">
(% style="font-size: 1em;" %)
== **LEFT** ==
</div>
<div class="rightSidePanel">
(% style="font-size: 1em;" %)
== **RIGHT** ==
</div>
{{/html}}
{{/velocity}}
In XWIKI Sintax() you specify:
**bold**
(% style="text-align:center;color:blue" %)
Centered and blue paragraph
== Header ==
etc.
This means that if someone is using the new sintax (2.0) this is how he
should write the code inside the document and plus, it shows how it will
look.
"== Header ==" this creates sections. it does....if not inserted in a <div>
If i put "{{/html}}{{/velocity}}" before i write
(% style="text-align:center;color:blue" %)
Centered and blue paragraph
and then start all over with these lines : {{velocity}}{{html}} and so oon.
it does not recognize my divs anymore.
This should have been an easy and routine, actually boring stuff to do, to
make a page, import a css where u declare 2 panels, use them in the page and
add simple text and code where you desire.
But it turned out to be a day of a big hassel. If the documentation says :"
(% style="text-align:center;color:blue" %)
Centered and blue paragraph" then this should just work.
Thank you

Sent from the XWiki- Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
The XWiki development team is pleased to announce the release of XWiki
Enterprise 2.1 Release Candidate 1.
Go grab it at http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/Download
It's the first and hopefully only release candidate of the 2.1 version.
Main changes from 2.1 Milestone 1:
* The Blog application is now using the xwiki/2.0 syntax and the new
WYSIWYG editor
* Allow XWiki.XWikiAllGroup to be an implicit group, containing all
the users without explicitly listing them as objects
* When renaming a page, also update the "parent" field of subpages
(Patch from Caleb James De Lisle)
* [Platform] Ability to register a component for the current user or
for the current wiki instead of globally. Note that this will be used
in the near future to allow registering Wiki Macros in multiwiki mode
without the macros being visible in other wikis.
* Updated translations : de (including WYSIWYG), es, fr (including
WYSIWYG), gl, lv, nl, pl, ro, sv, zh
* All Features and Improvements also present in XWiki Enterprise 2.0.4
For more information see the Release notes at:

Hello!
I'm running with XWiki 2.0.3.
I have the need to print (or export to pdf) a whole space starting with
WebHome.
I tried the following:
[[PDF-Version>>https://www.computer42.org/xwiki/bin/export/XX-XXX/WebHome?format=pdf&inclu…
It has worked in the beginning. But as the space grows duplicate section
names (in different pages) occurs.
This force the following exception:
org.apache.fop.fo.ValidationException: Property ID "HKurzbeschreibung"
(found on "fo:block") previously used; ID values must be unique within a
document! (See position 1142:263)
(full stack trace at the end)
How can I work around this problem? Is any other solution suggested ?
Best regards,
H.-Dirk Schmitt

evening,
out of curiosity, is it possible to make something, to write a line of code
without the "#set(" but to not show the result on the page?
for instance:
- if i #set($list = $util.arrayList)
and then
$list.add($x) -just add x to the list, but in the same time shows "true"
printed on the page. i would like to avoid this, and still keep the logic?
:working:

Emne: Help with hibernate problem
Hi
I get the errors below on my newly installed xwiki. I've followed the instructions in http://www.howtoforge.com/xwiki-tomcat-mysql-debian-etch (whith the exception of point 11, which I was trying to do now)
I've checked and re-checked my hibernate.cfg.xml and my MySQL-configuration and I'm unable to find the problem. Could you please help me solve this?

Hi ...
We use XWiki 1.8 (yes, we're updating soon) for OpenSolaris, and we have
a large and active community in Japan. In fact, Japan is the #1
non-English language driving traffic to our site. I notice that Japanese
is not supported but these 21 languages are:
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Features/I18N
So I'd like to find out if anyone is currently working on localizing the
XWiki resources file into Japanese. Would I look for that info here?
http://l10n.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/XE/XWikiCoreResources
Thanks,
Jim

<tr>
<td>$d </td>
<td> $pageList.indexOf[$count] $pageList.indexOf[$count] </td>
<td>delete</td>
</tr>
#set($count = $count +1)
#end
just want to get the something from a list on the possition $count.
Please tell me what i am doing that wrong?

Hello,
I'd just like to wan you that it seems my Xwiki site has been cracked
few hours ago.
One notable change is that copyright string now is "Copyright 2004-2007
(c) XPertNet and Contributing Authors"
I'm still investigating, reason, but please be watchful you also.

You are right. It works really good. Just i don't know why it did not in the past (we restarted the server).
But we still have a problem with medium/big PPT (more than 15Mb). We have a timeout. Can we modify this timeout value ?

We just made the migration to Office XP so don't expect the migration to Office 2007 before ten years (at least) ;-)

Hello,
So only by using the tools i can use lists and sort right?
this code should work:
$dateList.add($date) //it populates
$sorter.sort($dateList,["${date}:asc"]) //does not sort
##Collections.sort($dateList)
or maybe
$dateList.sort() //does not work

Hi Bubulina,
jQuery can be used with XWiki without complete integration too. I was able
to use jquery for table sorting in a small experiment on my local XWiki
instance today & use it for some UI features in my production XWiki instance
in office. I am not an expert in javascript libraries, however, IMHO I've
never had an instance where prototype & jquery have interefered. I tried the
following steps. Hope this might help you.
1. Created a new page called 'jquery' in XWiki
2. Attached a javascript object to this page called 'jquery' using the
object editor
3. Copied over the javascript code from the minified jQuery downloaded from
the jQuery website into the object created in above step.
4. The object settings are: Use this extension= On Demand, Parse Content=
No, Caching Policy=default
5. Repeated the above steps with the tablesorter.js file available from the
TableSorter 2.0 plugin for jQuery
6. Created the final table sorter demo page. Added the two javascript
includes & html table as follows:
(Note: I use XWiki syntax 1.0 since I am most comfortable with that. You
might want to change the code here for XWiki Syntax 2.0 compatibility).
$xwiki.jsx.use("devmain.jquery")
$xwiki.jsx.use("devmain.tablesorter")
<script>
$(document).ready(function()
{
$("#myTable").tablesorter();
}
);
</script>
<table id="myTable">
<thead>
<tr>
<th>Last Name</th>
<th>First Name</th>
<th>Email</th>
<th>Due</th>
<th>Web Site</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>Smith</td>
<td>John</td>
<td>jsmith(a)gmail.com</td>
<td>$50.00</td>
<td>http://www.jsmith.com</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Bach</td>
<td>Frank</td>
<td>fbach(a)yahoo.com</td>
<td>$50.00</td>
<td>http://www.frank.com</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Doe</td>
<td>Jason</td>
<td>jdoe(a)hotmail.com</td>
<td>$100.00</td>
<td>http://www.jdoe.com</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Conway</td>
<td>Tim</td>
<td>tconway(a)earthlink.net</td>
<td>$50.00</td>
<td>http://www.timconway.com</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
That's it!!!
One observation though, using too many javascript libraries is going to slow
down the page. XWiki loads prototype & scriptaculous by default (AFAIK,
these two would definitely get downloaded on every page refresh till XWiki
version 1.9.X). Adding jQuery (which when minified would still be 56
something kb & tablesorter.js which is another 13 kb approx) will definitely
make the page crawl with too many users. I tested the above page with YSlow!
Plugin on firefox & got a Grade D & overall performance score of 62 on
localhost.
Hope the information helps. Thank you Bubulina.

AFAIK the only issue is to make prototype and jquery work together but
that's doable. See for ex;

You could also check the mail archives, maybe there are answers there:

Hello,
a while ago I sent the following question to this mailing list:
"categories are part of XWiki Workspaces. However, I cannot find this feature in XWiki Enterprise (neither in the software itself nor the documentation). In general, I consider categories a useful extension to spaces and tags and, thus, would like to have them at my disposal. Is there a way to include categories into XWiki Enterprise?"
I would appreciate some feedback. In January, we will begin two pilots using XWiki and it would be helpful to know how to include categories. I expect that there is a way to do it (this feature is available in Workspaces after all).

Hi
How can I add properties to my spaces?
I'm looking for something like an editable SpaceClass.
And a way to change the "Create Space" form to include the property.
And finally a way to access that property with Groovy.
But I've noticed that there aren't classes for Pages or Spaces.
I'm using XE 2.0.3.

Hello,
Is it possible to pass arguments to a Groovy object instantiated using xwiki.parseGroovyFromPage("Blah.Blah"), or is there some other way to do it?
Thanks,
Joshua
Hello all,
I've been desiring a testing framework to aid my development efforts within XWiki pages. Specifically, I want to use test-driven development so that I can write tests for scripts before I write the scripts themselves. These tests would be harnesses (possibly using {{include document="Blah.Blah"}} and xwiki.parseGroovyFromPage("Blah.Blah")) and would report passes / failures / errors. There would also be a way to develop a suite of tests to run all at once, xUnit style. Before taking the time to develop this myself, has anyone developed something like this, or are there any recommendations or code you could share?
Thanks,
Joshua
I have created a class that will be used to display SOPs (standard operating
procedures). I have assigned the class its required properties (mostly of
data types String and TextArea) and generated the class sheet and class
template. When I create new documents/instances of the SOPClass, the
documents look like the SOPTemplate.
I've tried populating the constant properties in the SOPTemplate and
creating a new document. The new document looks like the SOPTemplate in
structure but does not have any values associated with its properties. Is
there a way that the SOPTemplate can propagate it's property values to new
instances of the SOPClass? That is, I want some (but not all) of the
properties of SOPClass to be the same for every new document/instantiation
of the SOPClass. Is this possible? Similarly, if these constant properties
are modified in the future, I'd like the changes to be distributed across
all instances of SOPClass.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Joe
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to activate the xwiki monitoring feature, following the
instructions given
here:http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/Logging, but it
doesn't work for me. Is it because I'm working on Xwiki Enterprise
Manager?
Do you have any idea of what I can do to get my log file?
In advance thanks
Raphaelle

Hi,
At present I'm a total noob when it comes to xwiki so please
forgive anything that demonstrates that in the following
request for guidance/support...
I'd like to create a xwiki page that, in appearance, is not
dissimilar to this page:
http://www.xwiki.com/xwiki/bin/view/BlogFr/
Where the difference will ocur is that I'd like to aggregate
several *external* blog feeds into the main body content as per
the blog post item list in the example above and the same (i.e.
aggregate external feeds) for the twitter module sitting in the
right column further down although ideally i'd like to mash
twitter and identica feeds into a single list thus merging the
timelines - and for extra kudos a de-dupe would be sweet to cut
out those cross-posts and retweets.
Would be cool to do the cloud as well though I suspect I'll need
to try and cache an aggregated 'lookup' before attempting that
feat.
Finally, I'm currently working under a particular constraint -
the version of xwiki I'm using is v1.5.2.12758.
Any pointers re: best practice for a) embedding javascript in the
page as per the twitter object and b) blog post aggregation and
ideally c) some demo markup anyone could share and would be
totally delighted if d) anyone wants to tell me how they'd do or
have done the tag cloud from an aggregated feed.
Kind Regards,
Ed.
PS. I've looked at this example with Groovy though I'd appreciate
confirmation I can do it in the version I'm using before
attempting, failing and resorting to losing head on hair from
ignorant frustration ;-) i.e. any extra dependencies to do the
groovy thing or can I just do this straight away with the version
I currently use: http://bit.ly/8KcgLD
Fabio,
A bit more to the issue: I just renamed the strange page from Panels.Recently Modified* to Panels.Recently Modified2 and the grabbing finished without an error. Still there is no list of pages under the Panels node in the Xwiki Eclipse Navigator.
In another space I have "-- Glossary --" and "-- Views --" as page names. I sort the pages using "$sorttool.sort()", but I wanted these to be at the top although they would not be alphabetically sorted there. So I added the "--" before and after. Of course I could just manually enter them into the panel, but now the panel space seems to be correctly "grabbed" despite the unusual name that occurs there.
The error message here is somewhat different:

I need to get a list of attachments for some page (not current wiki-page).
How it possible to do for current page - I know:
{{velocity}}
#set ($attdoc=$doc)
#foreach( $attachment in $attdoc.getAttachmentList() )
* [[$attachment.getFilename()>>attach:$attachment.getFilename()]]
\\
#end
{{/velocity}}
This script works fine for current wiki-page. But when I tried to replace
#set ($attdoc=$doc)
with
#set ($attdoc='Personal.Tabels2007')
no any results. Personal.Tabels2007 - is a my space and wiki-document, where
attachments exists.
Please help me for the syntax using in this situation.

When a user attaches a new version of a file to a wiki page, the old version
of the attachment is stored in the attachment archive database, correct?
If yes, then this means that this database will fill up. Is there a way to
flush the archive for specific documents?

Hello,
This mail to inform you that on myxwiki.org, it's impossible to turn pages
into edition, either wysiwyg or wiki mode (time out).
For instance on that page :
http://cdi.myxwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/WikiTricks/
Is this due to my wiki or to a server problem ?
Thanks in advance.
It's XWiki Enterprise 2.0.4 obviously.

Hello,
After some XWiki engine upgrade we notify that Email notifications
interval format for Watch List change from numbers to strings
I don't known when it change and why migration don't update existing field.
To solve it, I write this snippet code to update existing
configuration. http://code.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Snippets/WatchListEmailnotificationsin…
Hop that can help.
Regards,
Arnaud.
Dear All,
has anyone installed the Xeclipse plugin in the plugin directory of
Eclipse and have it not recognized by Eclipse? I am having that problem.
The instructions from
http://xeclipse.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/Installation say:
"Installing XEclipse as a plugin is as easy as unzipping the downloaded
ZIP file into your eclipse plugin directory (usually
${eclipse_home}/plugins where ${eclipse_home} is your eclipse
installation directory)"
When I unzipped "xwiki-eclipse-feature-1.2-rc-1.zip" into my eclipse
plugin directory, it added another plugin directory below plugin.
(Please mention on the site that the plugin path is included in the zip
file, so that it should be extracted in the ${eclipse_home} directory.)
When that didn't work, I removed the unzipped directories and unzipped
it in the eclipse directory so that the files were filled in the plugin
directory. But it still didn't work. When the menu item Window->Show
View->Other is selected in Eclipse there is no XWiki folder and no Xwiki
Navigator. Are there some other implicit installation steps not
mentioned here? Are both the Xeclipse and the plugin necessary?
The instruction also mentions that the Eclipse Ganymede Full version (no
version number) should be installed. Mine is Eclipse Platform Version:
3.3.2, Build id: M20080221-1800. Could someone please mention the
earliest Eclipse version for which this plugin works?
Thanks,
Steven Calkins
Thanks Thomas
On your link i see :
In order to forbid LDAP auth to create users on subwikis you can:
- disable LDAP in xwiki.cfg and enable it in the main wiki by choosing "No" in the "Ldap" field of XWiki.XWikiPreference page object
- disable LDAP in every sub-wikis by choosing "No" in the "Ldap" field of XWiki.XWikiPreference page object
I guess that you mean "yes" in the LDAP field in the first option ?
Just i don't had to do that on my 1.8.2 wiki. When i was connecting in the main wiki and then going to a virtual one, the copy of the user (if new one) was ok.
Anyway i will try one of this options. Thank you.

Hello,
We have here a main Wiki (2.0.3) and few Virtual Wikis. When a user connects to the main one and then goes to a virtual one, a new page is created based on the id of the user. The problem is that this page is not linked to user's class and only the id of the user is displayed instead of the first name/last name
If now the user logout, goes in the virtual wiki and connect, the system will create a new page called "<ID>_1" with right information.
All authentication users is based on LDAP systems (first name and last name are retrieved from the AD)
Any idea where it can comes from ?
Thank you all.

You can import xwiki-manager.xar to receive administration UI.
But this theme is specific to you wiki installation (I don't know what
wiki you installed and how) and are xwiki-specific.
So, I will redirect this to xwiki mail list.

Hi,
I'm using Office 2007 SP2, XE 2.0 and XWord 1.0 final. I can connect to my
xwiki through word properly, but every page written in word is displayed as
a code such as:
<div class="Section1">
<h1>
Test!!
</h1>
<p>
TESTTT blabla </p>
</div>
The .xar import was successful and as I'm the admin every page has
programming rights as well.
I haven't found any stated bug related to this issue!
So can anyone help me since using word for editing is crucial!
Thanks!!
Fabian

Hi,
I have a groovy script in a page, that loads some data and create pages and
objects with it.
Basically for each input data 2 new documents are created, each with 2 new
objects inside (one a custom class, and one for tags "XWiki.TagClass").
For most documents there is no problem, while for some I get the following
kind of exceptions (always for one of the classes, never for the other) :
Error number 3201 in 3: Exception while saving document MailArchive.
MMKSonLinuxpatch22-01
Wrapped Exception: Row was updated or deleted by another transaction (or
unsaved-value mapping was incorrect):
[com.xpn.xwiki.objects.DateProperty#2009-09-14 15:57:26.0]
The exact same date string is used to save another document/object without
any problem (the Date fields have exactly same pattern format). I use the
same SimpleDateFormat for all, and the patterns in the class are copy-paste,
so why is it ok for one and failure for the other ?
It's not always a DateProperty that cause issues, it can also be Strings or
LargeStrings.
I tried to delete my custom class and recreate it, purge all created
documents (with doc.delete()), and also to purge all entries that were left
even after delete(), directly in database (in tables xwikidoc, xwikiobjects,
xwikistrings, xwikilargestrings, xwikidates and xwikirecyclebin), but it
seems the same input data will always have document.save() fail this way.
It seems it's always the second save() for an input data that can fail. This
second save() targets a different document, object and class, and it's not
the same groovy variables either. Could it happen that the first save() is
not completely finished and there is some problem with tables updates ?
Would I have something else to do to make sure previous transaction is
finished ?
I believe it must be something in the data, but it's only strings,
largestrings and a date, so I don't know how to investigate more...
Thanks for any help,
Jeremie
PS : I'm on XWiki 2.0.3, MySQL 5.1.38, Linux RH Rel 4
Hallo,
is it possible that attachments on one page have different access rights?
Or gets the attachments always the rights from their page?
Thank you!

Hi,
got something intresting,
i have a table with divs with headings (syntax 2.0, XE 2.0.2)
|(((
=== Heading ===
)))
The Heading is displayed fine in Firefox but is not displayed in IE with
Colibri skin. Using the Toucan skin it is displayed in both browsers.
For further investigation I looked at the source code of the page where i
get something like
<table><tr><td>
<div>
<h3>Heading</h3>
</div>
</td></tr></table>
In IE somehow it seems the span is displayed but not its content. Changing
the font-size in IE the text appears, refreshing the page the text
disappears.
Any suggestions cause i really cant figure out what happens there.
Thanks
hel.

Hi everyone,
I'm always looking for the new releases from XWiki, and I was wondering if
it was possible to get these informations by email? instead of always going
on the site and checking if the new release has arrived or not.
In advance thanks
Best regards

Hi everyone!
I just change the logo of my xwiki but I don't why, when the page is
loading, it takes several seconds loading the image. I followed the
instructions below:
* Choose an existing image or create a new one
* Resize it so that it is 220 pixels wide and 80 pixels high
* Save it as a PNG file and name it "logo.png"
* Upload the image as an attachment in /
xwiki/bin/view/XWiki/DefaultSkin
So, I want to know if this is the normal behavior.
Thanks in advance!

Hi XWiki lovers :),
By now you've probably seen the new menu bars that we have introduced
in XE 2.1M1. If not, please try XE 2.1M1 or check the release notes at
http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/ReleaseNotesXWikiEnterprise21M1
Since the action menu has been heavily reworked we're interesting in
gathering feedback and thus ensure that you like the new menu as much
as we do.
If you have some problems with them please let us know ASAP (since the
2.1 final release is approaching fast - early December).
So whether you like them or not, please let us know what you think
about them.
Thanks a lot

Hello all,
We try to configure and use a 2.0.3 xwiki server (based on our 1.8.2 experience)
1) Problems found :
- During the import of a small sized Word document (3Mb - 20 pages - 7 pictures - few arrays), we had a crash (IE displayed the page about missing server). When we tried to opened again the main page, the imported document was partly created, with no picture displayed (but in attachment files) and with some HTML files in the attachment list. Since the crash we cannot log in the system anymore, we had to restart it (we use a LDAP authentication)
- When we try to insert a picture in a page, we change the width and height in the popup window to 50%. The picture is displayed well in the editor, once saved the picture is not displayed. If we edit again the page, the picture is displayed in the editor. If we try to insert the same picture without resizing it, it works well.
- Statistics / Insert of macro : you already know about this problems
I don't have the access permissions to the log, but if you need some traces, tell me and i will request them.
2) Questions :
- In the WYSIWYG editor, we cannot change the text color or background text color. Is there a way to do that ?
- In the Office Importer we cannot paste a PowerPoint slide, is there a way to do that ? We would like to import the content of PPT files and displayed them in a Wiki page.
3) Feedback :
The main feedback of the xwiki is a "waouh looks great". Users (IT and Business) all agree that it can be really usefull in them daily work and see the added value to work with it. Now, like many companies, we use a lot of Microsoft Office documents and they would like the import of documents working better (DOC, XLS, PPT - Formatting). Also, the insert of print screen could be easier than creating a JPG file and use then a copy/paste instead (i have to say that i don't know if it's possible or not)
But at the end, the feeling is very positive and we hope to see many more improvements soon in this great software.
Very good work all !

Hi,
I'm trying to create an instance of a class using the restful api however I keep getting back http error 400 bad request messages.
We are posting a string of propertyname=value pairs seperated by ampersands with a className property at the end set to the type of xwiki class that we would like to create.
1. Is a string of property=value pairs the right way to do this?
2. do I need to prefix "property#" infront of each property name?
3. Are there any logs which might give more insight into why http 400 bad request is being returned? Ive checked the xwiki.log and Jetty/logs/ folder but couldn't find anything detailed.
Thanks in advance
Radek
Evening, or at least here is starting to be late... :)
i am stuck at an issue here. is there a way to copy for instance(from the
ValidationSample.xar...the formulary...) the ValidationSampleCode[0] into
anothe space, as a class to a page in that page.
so if the class has 3 properties...string textarea number, then these to be
copied in a clone class .
ex:
page Val1 has the ValidationSample.ValidationSampleCode[0] attached
i want for the page TestPage(from another space) to have the
TestSpace.TestPageClass[0] attached to it.(this TestSpace.TestPageClass[0]
to be a clone of another class obj).
am i making any sense here for you

Hi is it only my part of the myxwiki that is hungup?
If I push the edit button the page loads and loads but doesn't get
anywhere.
One of the panels is also failing:

Hello,
I upgraded my wiki (webapp and xar) from 2.0.RC1 to 2.0.3.
While statistics are supposed to work (they were in RC1) as a bug was
solved, it seems in fact in 2.0.3 my statistics tables are not updated
anymore.
I did not change the xwiki.cfg so they should be activated as they used to.
I checked the list of plugins which seems ok.
There is no exception related to statistics in my logs.
Am I missing something ?
Thanks,
Jeremie
Hi Marius,
Thank you for the advice.
I will ask the team in charge of servers to update the system and hope to have back this functionnality (and statistics also).
We will wait for the 2.0.4 to be released as it takes time to update and will not do that with a non final release.

When we try to insert a macro when editing a page, we have the message below displayed in the popup window (the HTML tags are also displayed).
We work with virtual wikis, the problem exists in the main wiki and all virtual wikis.

Hi everybody
We have an Xwiki production platform which includes the documentation of 2 of our applications. Infortunately, they don't nécessarely speak to each other.
The xwiki configuration file indicates that the encoding is ISO-8859-1 which works fine till now.
But one of the two applications wishes to give a XAR with xml files in ISO-8859-15...
Here is my question : can I put two encodings in the configuration file like "xwiki.encoding=ISO-8859-1,ISO-8859-15" to allow multiple encodings for different spaces ?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
I have a groovy script in a page, that loads some data and create pages and
objects with it.
Basically for each it gets a new Document, create a new Object in it, use it
to set all fields (no one is null), then create a new Object
"XWiki.TagClass", sets the tags, and then saves the document. This process
is repeated, as each input data will generate 2 documents/objects for 2
different custom classes.
For most documents there is no problem, while for some I get the following
kind of exceptions (always for one of the classes, never for the other) :
Error number 3201 in 3: Exception while saving document
MailArchive.MMKSonLinuxpatch22-01
Wrapped Exception: Row was updated or deleted by another transaction (or
unsaved-value mapping was incorrect):
[com.xpn.xwiki.objects.DateProperty#2009-09-14 15:57:26.0]
The exact same date string is used to save another document/object without
any problem (the Date fields have exactly same format).
It seems it's always the second save() that can fail. This second save()
targets a different document, object and class, and it's not the same groovy
variables either. Could it happen that the first save() is not completely
finished and there is some problem with tables updates ? Would I have
something else to do to make sure previous transaction is finished ?
I believe it must be something in the data, but it's only strings,
largestrings and a date, so I don't know how to investigate more...
Thanks for any help,

PS : I'm on XWiki 2.0.3, MySQL 5.1.38, Linux RH Rel 4
I have installed the enterprise xwiki.war completed all intructions for
Tomcat Servlet and MySQL Database configuration. When I try to connect from
my browser the error occurs below. The Wiki is running on a hosted tomcat
webserver.
I've found the general error alot but not with the following line code:
Wrapped Exception: Could not parse mapping document from resource
xwiki.hbm.xml
I thought the error might be related to some mistakes in the
hibernate.cfg.xml

Dear All,
Since I updated from XWiki Enterprise1.9 to 2.0.3.24848, I can't add
users to user-defined groups anymore. The new users are still assigned
to the default XWikiAllGroup. I had made an XAR from my 1.9 Xwiki space
to save some changes I made, which I imported again after updating.
(Incidentally, the Xwiki Rights, Xwiki Global Rights, Xwiki Stylesheet
Extension Class, XWiki Comment Class, XWiki Skin Class and the
Javascript Extension Class pages in the XWiki space show errors when I
look at them -- the exception: Failed to execute macro: velocity).
I fear that something went wrong when I reimported the old Xwiki space.
The rights seem to be affected with users having privileges which they
shouldn't have according to the rights settings. Could someone please
explain if any changes have been made to the macros on these pages from
version 1.9 to 2.0? If so, would it be possible to print the xwiki
editor content (where the velocity macros reside) in this forum so that
the content could be compared? An XWiki 2.0 space XAR would be fine too.
Then these old pages could be saved under other names, and only these
2.0 documents would be selected, imported and I could compare them.
Any help someone can offer on these matters would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.
Greetings,
Steven Calkins
The XWiki development team is pleased to announce the release of XWiki
Enterprise 2.1 Milestone 1.
Go grab it at http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/Download
It's the first and only milestone of the 2.1 version.
Main changes from 2.0.3:
* Re-design of the actions menus. Split the top menu into 2: one for
wiki and space level actions and one for page level actions.
* New renderer for mathematical formulae based on the Google Chart APIs.
* Added PHP support through a new PHP Macro (note that this Macro is
not bundled by default, you'll need to install it).
* Lots of improvements and bugfixes in order to conform to the Web
Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
* Macro parameter pretty names are now displayed in the WYSIWYG
* WYSIWYG editor performance improvement (Minimize and aggregate
WYSIWYG editor stylesheets at build time to reduce the number of HTTP
requests)
* Upgraded to JbossCache 3.2.1GA version
* Upgraded to Groovy 1.7 Beta 2
* Lots of bugs fixes

Hi,
I was wondering, can the modification date be manually overridden? I mean, how does the org.codehaus.swizzle.confluence.Page.setModified() work?
Thank you very much,
Allen

Hello
i am most amazed since yesterday regarding xwiki and the very weird changes
of skin, as a result of an editing a simple page, or editing a panel.
i have no logical explanation to this. I just edited an existing panel(added
a few normal links for pages from the wiki pages) AND my surprise was that
on viewing the pages i got myself a different color of skin.
yesterday, on another wiki(different computer. nothing to connect them) i
edited a page and got a differnet skin.
does anyone from the developers know anything about this? it cannot just
happend to me twice :D
Looking forward to discussing this.
Thank you.

Hello friends of XWiki,
Several XWiki members will be participating at FOSDEM next year in
February ( http://fosdem.org/ ), and we're trying to determine if
there's interest in applying for a devroom, which would mean half a day
or more of XWiki-related presentations.
- Are there any people interested in participating to such presentations?
- Does anybody want to do such a presentation, besides XWiki committers?
I'd need answers to these questions soon, since the deadline for
application is in two days. Note that FOSDEM is a developer-oriented
conference, so presentations should be rather technical.
FYI, there is no participation fee, anybody can attend FOSDEM as long as
there are places in the rooms.
