Hello,
after the farm is administrable again, we set up another wiki
and in the newly created one the activity stream macro works fine!
My first guess was, the database schema has not been updated, but
the farm administration itself shows the activity stream. So
perhaps the schemes of our virtual wikis have not been updated?!
How can I check this?

Just a guess in the wild:
Our server is running behind an Apache server which also holds the
private key and certificate for https support. I've observed the rss
plugin (macro, extension?) has problems with the fact, the Tomcat
doesn't know anything about it. I guess I could resolve that by adding
the CA certificate to the cacert file java uses out of the box (or
have a look in the Tomcat documentation to see if Tomcat perhaps is
using another one). Would the activiti macro have similar problems?

since we updated from XWiki 2.7 to 3.1 we have problems with the
activity macro. The activities are not displayed instead the output
looks as shown in the attached png.
Large attachments are not allowed on this list, can you upload the image
on an image hosting server and paste the link instead?
We excluded some files from the xar (like
XWikiPreferences), so may be
we excluded too much? The activity page was definitively updated.
