The existing file ApplicationResources_es.properties.txt contains several mistranslated chains, calques and commands that have not been translated. Since they form quite a bunch, I've decided to attach a new file rather than a patch. 
The file New_ApplicationResources_es.properties is Spanish from Spain. As suggested in  XWIKI-2045,  translations for other variants of Spanish should be made. 
Thanks to Nahuel Espíndola, William Lesguillier and Vincent Massol for a good starting point.
