The start & stop shortcuts created in the main menu by the installer do not work in KDE. The same installation, in a gnome session, works perfectly fine.
Issue noticed with KDE 3.5.9 on ubuntu hardy (8.04). 
It might be an issue of izpack, but I couldn't find it in their bug reports.
