By default WikiManager create empty wiki, but you can provide xar
(wikimanager.wikipackage) file or set existing wiki as template
(wikimanager.wikitemplate) wiki from which the new wiki will be
created.

You can now connect to this empty wiki and use the Administration
Import feature to import the xar you want like XE one as you can do
with any "normal" XWiki wiki.

By the way you see "wikimanager.wikitemplate" and
"wikimanager.wikipackage" because you did not load WikiManager
translation documents. You can do that with application manager
(http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Code/ApplicationManagerApplication)
