It was only covered indirectly through toString(), because Commons Lang's ToStringStyle registry was a WeakHashMap calling hashCode(). Commons Lang 3.21.0 switched it to an IdentityHashMap, which dropped the instruction ratio from 0.90 to 0.88. The default search already labels its facet filtering pages by class "Object type", and the two select the same pages, so a reader moving from one to the other should meet the same word. The UI also says "Objects of type {0}" elsewhere. Only the wording users read changes: the code identifiers keep "data type" while the vocabulary discussion on the forum is still open, so that a later rename touches the facet and this macro together.
