Extensions appended, none ever cut: the map had grown to 57 lines / 4.6 KB — half the file — describing topics that `okf/index.md` already describes in more detail. * `instructions/xwiki-org.md` — the OKF map goes back to routing: topic names plus a clause only where the name is not self-explanatory (20 lines / 1.4 KB). Every phrase dropped was checked to exist in `okf/index.md` first, so nothing is lost. The one rule that genuinely had to stay always-on — never hard-wrap prose — moves out of a parenthetical in the map onto the 120-character bullet it qualifies, where it is actually read. File: 9812 → 6671 bytes, ~785 tokens off every session. * `skills/xwiki-knowledge/SKILL.md` — the EXTEND gate gains an always-on item saying the mirror is routing only and a rule may be promoted there only when it must be obeyed without opening any OKF file; step 2 asks for the topic's name rather than a description; a new step 3 asks that a touched section come out shorter, stale and duplicated content cut, with the cuts listed in the PR. * `scripts/validate.mjs` — new invariant 5: byte budgets on the whole file and on the map block, so the accretion is caught mechanically rather than at review. That is what happened to this very branch: it bumped 1.1.1 -> 1.1.2, #68 merged 1.1.2 to master first, and the bump became a no-op that would have merged without conflict and shipped to nobody, since Claude Code pulls a plugin only when its version increases. * `scripts/validate.mjs` — new invariant 6: when the branch changes anything under `xwiki/` (the shipped surface), the version must be strictly greater than the base branch's. Without it, read `xwiki.java.version` from the root pom and set JAVA_HOME by hand. * Document in the xwiki-build skill what xmvn actually does, why it is preferred over selecting the JDK manually, and the failures a too-new JDK produces: JaCoCo aborting with "Unsupported class file major version" (which breaks every -Pquality build) and the Spoon plugin failing to add a URL to the system classloader. Both read as code or configuration problems and are neither. * Record that `sonar:sonar` has a JDK floor of its own, higher than the branch's Java level on the older lines, and that xmvn raises the version for it — so this is one more reason to prefer xmvn over a hand-picked JDK. The two genuine drop shapes it lists are kept — they are now presented as the drop list rather than as a reason to skip the rule. Also adds the two mechanics the sweep proved necessary: Sonar flags only some of a file's reversed assertions, so the whole file must be converted or it reads two ways; and a swap never changes overload resolution, even across numeric types.
