Branch: refs/heads/misc-imagestyle-admin-po-diagnostics Home: https://github.com/xwiki/xwiki-platform Commit: 778a99ccc44d082532d89954ce1b4d28aaad6c47 https://github.com/xwiki/xwiki-platform/commit/778a99ccc44d082532d89954ce1b… Author: Vincent Massol <vincent(a)massol.net> Date: 2026-09-02 (Wed, 02 Sep 2026) Changed paths: M xwiki-platform-core/xwiki-platform-image/xwiki-platform-image-style/xwiki-platform-image-style-test/xwiki-platform-image-style-test-pageobjects/src/main/java/org/xwiki/image/style/test/po/ImageStyleAdministrationPage.java Log Message: ----------- [Misc] Make the image style administration page object fail explicitly and diagnosably * Wait for the default image style form to be displayed before considering the section loaded, since this page object is also built right after clicking a link, i.e. possibly before the browser left the previous page. * Fail immediately, with an explicit message, when the section renders without the fields of the Image.Style.Code.ConfigurationClass object, instead of letting a later interaction spend the whole implicit wait and then report an opaque element-not-found on one of them. * Include in that message the markup the server produced for the section and the REST representation of the configuration document with its objects. The two do not read the document the same way, so a failure says whether the object is absent from the database or only invisible to the request that rendered the section. It was the only text input of these forms with no prompt of its own, and since no default product name is shipped it renders as an empty box next to a version box that says what to type. * Cover both forms with a page test asserting that the product input carries a placeholder.
