The packages unpack straight to /var/solr/data/xwiki_<core>_9 with their core.properties, conf/ and lib/, which removes the need for unzip, the Solr-major detection and the manual core-creation logic. The Dockerfile downloads the four core packages at build time (selected by an XWIKI_VERSION build arg) and bakes solr-init.sh into /docker-entrypoint-initdb.d, so running the image no longer needs an init directory mount. solr-init.sh extracts the packages into the (possibly mounted) Solr home on startup, skipping cores that already exist. The analysis-extras module stays enabled since the core packages cannot bundle it.
