Renaming a version breaks the version, and renaming it back fixes it

On version 1.25 of the Book Versions extension, I redid the steps:

I renamed a version from "3.0" to "3.0.1" and the content for the pages disappeared. I tried searching in the Deleted Pages section, but I did not find anything there related to the version I changed, or the pages created under these version. I did not find any delete action for my user in the specific time frame.

Renaming the version from "3.0.1" back to what it was, "3.0" made the content of the pages created under the version "3.0" regain the content as nothing happened.

I did the same steps and got the same experience on a different instance which has version 1.19 of BV
