Josué Tille Dorian Ouakli for an issue like this, it is always welcome to add a comment when closing the issue with the chosen solution, as there's nothing in this issue that describes what should one expect instead of the reported defect.

There is indeed this pull request https://github.com/xwiki-contrib/jira/pull/70 that describes a solution and is associated to this issue but since it's open, it's not clear whether that is the solution that was added or not.

Another method to provide this information (what should one expect) is the link to documentation, that is something that is requested by the issues on jira.xwiki.org whenever an issue is closed (IIRC).

Later edit: this is particularly interesting as there is one comment saying : I dunno what should be the behaviour instead and another comment that proposes a behaviour, but, if I read correctly the commits, yet another solution was chosen.
