The fix should have been merged on 17.5.0 with https://github.com/xwiki/xwiki-platform/pull/4140 last week. I tested each point once more on the updated distribution: 1. Does not apply anymore. Closing a panel, it still shows it at the bottom of the screen (but keeps it closed when we get back to regular screen width). 2. Could not find it anymore. 3. It was possible to resize the panel
Note: Not sure why, but panel resizing didn't work as expected when using the Firefox responsive mode devtool.
