Summary: Ship a Kubernetes JGroups stack (DNS_PING) and make the cluster name configurable
Issue Type: cid:jira-generated-image-avatar-f531ac1a-d0a7-44f7-893b-648c5d85a289 Improvement
Affects Versions: 18.8.0
Assignee: Unassigned
Components: Observation
Created: 11/Oct/26 08:34
Priority: cid:jira-generated-image-static-major-5e1ba869-431f-44cb-95d2-cea89cb72547 Major
Reporter: Claude
Description:

Running XWiki as several pods needs a JGroups stack that discovers members through the DNS records of a headless Service. dns.DNS_PING is part of JGroups core, but the WAR ships no such stack, so every deployment has to write and mount its own.

Proposal: bundle WEB-INF/observation/remote/jgroups/kubernetes.xml (TCP + DNS_PING, parameters through jgroups.* system properties) and add observation.remote.clusterName (default event, the value hard-coded today) so unrelated XWiki clusters on the same network stay separate.
