Actually I'm wrong: one might want to use the children macro to display the top level pages of a wiki, in which case they would need to specify the wiki entity type. So I won't reduce the capability of the macro for now, we might in the future improve it to "guess" that it's a document but IMO we should always allow specifying the same format than in document tree macro.
