This ticket doesn't really seem to apply to the current situation anymore:

  • I don't see any IconTransformation class in the confluence package
  • Icon transformation is done in XWiki itself and can be disabled
  • We now import emojis from the current confluence XHTML syntax correctly

I will close this but feel free to reopen if I'm mistaken.
