Summary: Deleting a category without a parent sets an invalid parent on its subcategories
Issue Type: cid:jira-generated-image-avatar-21c8e027-065a-44f7-81f8-3607639b1c4f Bug
Affects Versions: 9.15.14
Assignee: Unassigned
Created: 13/Oct/26 23:39
Priority: cid:jira-generated-image-static-major-99512a98-6a19-49af-b43f-69d7bb4132aa Major
Reporter: Vincent Massol
Description:

When a category whose parent is empty is deleted from Blog.ManageCategories, its subcategories get a parent that is the literal string

{Blog.Categories.WebHome}

(with curly braces) instead of the categories root, so they no longer appear in the categories tree.

Cause: #deleteCategory in Blog.CategoriesCode builds the fallback parent with

"{$defaultCategoryParent}"

instead of

"${defaultCategoryParent}"

.
