| The URL and fields parameters of the JIRA macro take a structured value in a text field of the Edit Macro dialog, but declare no format, so the dialog accepts any text and the user only finds out at rendering, or not at all. The fix is done in AbstractJIRAMacroParameters.java for the URL and JIRAMacroParameters.java for the fields:
- Declare the URL format of the URL parameter, for example with a @Pattern annotation.
- Declare the format of the fields parameter, a comma-separated list of field ids, each with an optional label and type.

- XWIKI-25287, without which the Edit Macro dialog does not enforce the declared format and the value is only checked when the macro is rendered.

Impact found on macro fluidity These 2 KOs come from the WYSIWYG usability audit of the macros, under the criterion C13 constraints of its usability criteria. The page of the macro, linked in the table, has the full notes and the steps to reproduce. Fixing them means declaring the format of two parameters of the macro. |
