AFAIU there's nothing we can do in XWiki. We could update the templates generating this DOM, but we have plenty of other places with a picture in a link (some iconSets are image based...). IMO our current way to do this is correct. I wouldn't want to change things and make the experience worst for more popular combinations of tools like NVDA + Windows + Chromium.
I pushed for the fix on the NVDA project. Feel free to do it too if it's not been updated in a while

I pushed for the fix on the NVDA project. Feel free to do it too if it's not been updated in a while :P Unfortunately the project is huge and it would take me a long time to be able to propose a solution on their end.
