Summary: Editable area becomes very small when editing maximized in-place Source mode
Issue Type: cid:jira-generated-image-avatar-f7588e73-163a-422a-a83a-00a37774b9a0 Bug
Affects Versions: 17.4.0
Assignee: Unassigned
Attachments: Very_small_editable_area.png
Components: CKEditor
Created: 13/Jun/25 14:24
Environment: Windows 11 Pro, Edge 137, using an instance of XWiki 17.4.0 on MariaDB 11.7, Tomcat 11.0.7
Priority: cid:jira-generated-image-static-blocker-f1e10add-71f6-4be2-926a-41e8ebd6e4b3 Blocker
Reporter: Ilie Andriuta
Description:

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to a page (e.g. Sandbox.WebHome)
  2. Click edit to edit the page in-place
  3. Click 'Maximize' button from the toolbar to maximize the editing area
  4. Click 'Source' button
  5. Observe the editable area

Expected results

The editable area becomes maximized (covering the entire available space).

Actual results

The editable area becomes very small, covering only a small part of the top space.

The issue seems to reproduce only while editing in in-place mode (not also in WYSIWYG mode) and it couldn't be reproduced on XWiki 16.10.8.
