Note that this bug affects / negatively impacts also other features - for example, the Glossary application won't perform auto-replacement of glossary term on such pages. It took me a while to debug this and boil it down to the missing locale / page language setting.

Once I manually set the language for an imported page, the Glossary autolinking starts working. However, this is quite a hassle in case of documents which were imported with chapter / page splitting...
