Solved by XWIKI-16216 .
The changes merged in the context of XWIKI-16216 moved those links back in the top right navbar (out of the drawer where they were difficult to find for new users).

Charpentier Lucas I don't understand the relationship with XWIKI-16216

For me it's solved by the jira issue that moved the login and register buttons outside of the drawer.

Also you said "the changes merged" (past tense) but XWIKI-16216 is still open.

Could it be that you've used the wrong jira?
