Description:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to a page with some text content
  2. Select a word/some words
  3. Press CTRL+M
  4. From the CKEditor toolbar, click on "Image"
  5. Click on Upload option
  6. Select and upload a new image
  7. Click on Add annotation

Expected Result:
The uploaded image should remain visible in the annotation after saving in the annotation popup, as well as in the annotation comment

Actual Result:
After saving, the uploaded image is not displayed in the annotations popup as well as on the annotation comment. Only the image file name is displayed.

Notes:

  • Images attached directly in a Comment are displayed correctly before and after saving.
  • Images attached from existing pages are displayed correctly after the annotation is saved.
