Summary: Improve the wording of required rights
Issue Type: cid:jira-generated-image-avatar-f5c706da-1e68-4808-8562-82cd934a036d Bug
Affects Versions: 17.4.0
Assignee: Unassigned
Components: Security - Required Rights
Created: 19/Nov/25 16:59
Priority: cid:jira-generated-image-static-major-78521600-fd95-444d-83e6-34e225cb8e1f Major
Reporter: Michael Hamann
Description:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to the information tab of a page that enforces required rights (like the main page by default) and a page that enforces a required right like /xwiki/bin/view/AnnotationCode/AnnotationConfigSheet
  2. Read the part about required rights

Expected result:

A technical user who wasn't familiar with the concept of required rights understands the consequences of them and gets the idea that the second page is a page is a technical page containing scripts that can only be changed by users with script right.

Actual result:

The user is confused and doesn't understand what required rights are about.
