Eleni the steps to reproduce are not very clear to me:
3. Inside "example-page", insert an image via the WYSIWYG editor named "example.png".
It's not clear if you mean to include an image (from a different page or from the web) in the content of the page, or to attach / upload an image to that page. Do we have to use the WYSIWYG editor?
Inside "child-example-page", reference the image from "example-page" using:
[[image.example-page.WebHome@example.png]]
image.example-page.WebHome is the page reference, but you didn't mention anything about creating a root / top level page named "image". Where does this page come from? Or maybe you mean page-name.example-page.WebHome ? But in that case, are you sure you tested with the right page reference? If the page reference doesn't match then it isn't updated on rename.
