Summary: Date picker from the search facets is not loading properly in some cases
Issue Type: cid:jira-generated-image-avatar-69ac7453-aebd-4daa-a899-8d39072d2c11 Bug
Affects Versions: 17.10.0
Assignee: Unassigned
Attachments: Date_picker_not_loaded_properly.png, Date_picker_not_loaded_properly2.mp4
Components: Search - Solr
Created: 04/Dec/25 13:56
Environment: Windows 11 Pro, Firefox 145, using an instance of XWiki 17.10.0 on Oracle 19c, Tomcat 11.0.14
Priority: cid:jira-generated-image-static-major-3c0328b7-61af-4273-87c5-6703f490540d Major
Reporter: Ilie Andriuta
Description:

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to the search page
  2. Search for a word, e.g. "wiki"
  3. From "Filter your search" facets, expand a filter that has a custom date interval, like "Creation date"
  4. Click on "Custom date & time interval" (or select its checkbox)
  5. Input a start date and an end date
  6. Click "Apply" button
  7. Uncheck the tick box for the created filter
  8. Click again on "Custom date & time interval" (or select its checkbox)
  9. Click in a date input box to trigger the date picker
  10. Repeat steps 4 to 9 (sometimes it needs several tries to reproduce the issue)

Expected results

The date picker is displayed properly (having the standard horizontal width) and when mouse hovering, the dates are highlighted.

Actual results

The date picker is displayed with a smaller horizontal width, the time picker icon is on the left side and when mouse hovering over the dates, they are not highlighted anymore.

Also, when opening the time picker, its layout is broken.

No errors in JS console or XWiki logs.

On my side I've reproduced the issue sometimes the first time, and sometimes I needed several tries to be reproduced (as seen in the attached video).
