Issue Type: cid:jira-generated-image-avatar-8a69699d-9ddc-40f3-ac0b-1d1c248754e6 Improvement
Affects Versions: 18.8.0
Assignee: Unassigned
Components: WYSIWYG Editor
Created: 05/Oct/26 15:58
Priority: cid:jira-generated-image-static-major-49b655c5-4095-49a9-9020-d1dfbdc00123 Major
Reporter: Charpentier Lucas
Description:

Problem

The Insert Macro dialog lists macros with their name, description and category, and the Edit Macro dialog shows their parameters, but neither tells the user whether the macro can be used inside a sentence or only as a separate block. The editor uses the macro descriptor's supportsInlineMode when inserting or updating the macro, so the user only sees the result after submitting the dialog. Today this information is only available in the macro documentation and in the macro descriptor.

Proposal

Show whether the macro supports inline mode in the macro list of the Insert Macro dialog and in the header of the Edit Macro dialog, for example with a short label or an icon.
