I'm not sure when this was implemented, but on my local 17.5.0-SNAPSHOT instance, I could see that the auto hide was already done for the upload succeed message.

I might have misunderstood the point of the ticket, but there's no indicator for the deletion task except the xnotification appearing at the bottom of the screen.
