Marius Dumitru Florea: It would not be strictly "WYSIWYG", but "near WYSIWYG", and probably much more convenient to edit than today.

The only important thing in my point of view would be that the layouting is the same such that the display does not "jump" erratically while toggling between edit and read-only mode.

I personally don't see losing colors when switching to edit mode as an issue.
