Turns out it's a configuration issue: by default, WildFly does not have all the {{--add-open}} listed on https://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Community/SupportStrategy/JavaSupportStrategy/#HByXWikiVersions.
It also does not really have much to do with the job macro, what changed is just that the job macro now uses the standard XWiki job log system.
