The TOC in notifications emails displays "$title" instead of the actual page title

Simon Urli, thanks for your responses. We did an upgrade from a rather old XWiki 4.5.4, do you think there are some left-overs which break the notifications? While upgrading, we did a fresh install, run it against the old XWiki database dump and selected to overwrite everything when installing the new Standard Flavor. We are using "Multilingual: No" together with "Default Language: English" in our wiki.

Thanks for the answers. No if you properly replaced everything that was in the filesystem you should be good: you should have the new velocity templates. I have some other questions: does the problem only happen for notifications about pages in subwiki? And/or does it happen for pages which are private?

Oh, didn't know that. That could possibly explain why there are sometimes no responses at some issues. Good luck with the fix then!

We just applied yesterday another setup for notifications in jira so it should be better now.
