Note that this would need a new version of XWiki Syntax. From what I understand, XWiki Syntax is something that we can't update too often (probably for backwards compatibility reasons), so aa new version will be considered when there's enough items missing from the last one. See XWIKI-18931 for a similar problem with tables that would need extra syntax to be resolved.
