Closing as the test no longer flickers on the maintained branches (data from Develocity, CI builds only):

  • The burst of expected: <A comment has been added to the page "Linux as a title"> but was: <The page "Linux as a title" has been modified> failures (34 failures between 2026-07-02 and 2026-07-06) stopped with the fix of XWIKI-21059 on 2026-07-06: the failure rate went from 15.4% to 0.3%.
  • Since 2026-07-07 the test ran 1831 times on the maintained branches. Its only 4 failures were a NoSuchMethodError in NotificationsIT.setup on 2026-09-11, in builds that were broken for all tests (collateral, not this flicker).
  • The older td[data-title='Formats'] .view / timeout signatures only happened on stable-16.10.x (last on 2026-07-24), which is no longer maintained.

Feel free to reopen if it happens again on a maintained branch.
