Both ways are not working.
This is not precise enough. What's not working?
Thomas Mortagne assumed that what was not working is the automatic redirect from http://localhost:8080/xwiki which doesn't redirect to the defined home page (it always goes to http://localhost:8080/xwiki/bin/view/Main/). But maybe you meant something else?
