| Sometimes an extension is abandoned because there are alternatives. For a while, if they still work, they are kept installable because some people could still find them useful, but nobody is really maintaining them and probably will. It would be nicer to make that status a bit more official through a dedicated metadata and to use it to display/filter those extensions in a special way in Extension Manager UI. |
