Summary: Position of the current page should be more visible in pagination
Issue Type: cid:jira-generated-image-avatar-604204fd-ce7f-49ac-8aa2-75ef3bb979da Bug
Affects Versions: 17.10.0
Assignee: Unassigned
Attachments: Current_Page_3.png, Pagination_in_Search_page.png
Components: Icon - Icon Themes, Web - Templates & Resources
Created: 04/Dec/25 16:19
Environment: Windows 11 Pro, Firefox 145, using an instance of XWiki 17.10.0 on Oracle 19c, Tomcat 11.0.14
Priority: cid:jira-generated-image-static-major-4af8a069-ca0b-455c-8ebd-632a5cdb8653 Major
Reporter: Ilie Andriuta
Description:

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to Page Index (or Notifications Settings)
  2. Click on the pagination numbers to navigate: 1, 2, 3, etc
  3. Observe the pagination numbers/ icons

Expected results

The current page should be more emphasized that the rest of the pagination numbers, to be more visible (and maybe the numbers/icons should be a little bit bigger).

Another idea would be to add a background around it, like the pagination from Search page (screenshot attached).

Actual results

The current page is just a little bolder and a bit darker than the rest of the pagination numbers, but not enough to be noticed quickly.
